SCBA maze confidence course

February 6, 2007 members from the Union Fire Company attended an SCBA confidence course.  The drill was conducted by Captain Lynch.  The banquet hall was transformed into a mock dwelling unit.  Crews entered the drill blindfolded and encountered numerous obstacles while conducting a right hand search.  About halfway through the evolution an simulated building collapse occurred and participants had to call a mayday and retreat to safety.
